Riley Fenson (Bemidji, MN) finished 2-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenson lost 8-2 to Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA), then responded with a 5-4 win over Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO). Fenson went on to lose 7-6 against Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA). Fenson responded with a 8-5 win over Cayden Kraft (Bismarck, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Fenson earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 153rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.312 after improving upon their best so far this season. Fenson ranks 148th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.001 points earned so far this season.
