Yekaterina Kolykhalova (Almaty, KAZ) finished 2-6 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kolykhalova lost 12-1 to Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR), droppimg another game, 11-3 to Jessica Smith (Naseby, NZL). Kolykhalova lost 12-1 to Kerri Einarson (Gimli, CAN). Kolykhalova lost 9-8 to Australia's Jennifer Westhagen. Kolykhalova lost 9-0 to Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, USA). Kolykhalova lost 9-2 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) where Kolykhalova responded with a 7-5 win over Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung. Kolykhalova won 13-7 against Brazil's Isis Oliviera in their final qualifying round match.

Kolykhalova earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Kolykhalova did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kolykhalova ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
