Jeongmin Kim (Gyeonggido, KOR) finished 4-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated JaeBeom Lee (Kyungil, KOR) 12-4, then went on to lose 8-3 against Chang-Min Kim (Gyeongbuk, KOR). Kim lost 8-6 to Yeongseok Jeong (Gangwo, KOR) where Kim responded with a 10-4 win over Junhwa Lee (Uiseong, KOR). Kim won 6-4 against Woojin Yang (Uijeongbu, KOR). Kim went on to lose 7-6 against ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR). Kim responded with a 14-5 win over Minjun Kang (Seoul, KOR). Kim went on to lose 7-4 against Kim. Kim lost 9-3 to Jeong in their final qualifying round match.

Kim earned 6.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Korean Curling Championships. For week 1 of the event schedule, Kim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
