Vestman/Ahlberg Runner-Up at 2022 Mixed Doubles Bern

Therese Vestman/Robin Ahlberg (Stockholm, SWE) lost 11-3 to Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) in the Final of the Mixed Doubles Bern, held October 7 - 9, 2022 in Bern, Switzerland.

Vestman/Ahlberg finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vestman/Ahlberg defeated Lea Hueppi/Jonas Weiss (Dubendorf, SUI) 12-2, then won 5-4 against Pia-Lisa Schoell/Klaudius Harsch (Oberstorf, GER) and 8-4 against Karoliine Kaare/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 7-6 against Marlene Albrecht/Matt Wozniak (Zurich, SUI) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Mixed Doubles Bern, Vestman/Ahlberg take home 24.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, Vestman/Ahlberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Vestman/Ahlberg ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
