Grattan went on to lose 7-4 against Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS). Grattan responded with a 8-3 win over Jason Roach (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
Grattan earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Superstore Monctonian Challenge. Grattan move up 9 spots after posting a net gain of 1.856 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 60th overall with 63.496 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Grattan ranks 61st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 43.563 points earned so far this season.
