Alexander Lindstroem (Oslo, NOR) qualified for the 2023 Sun City Cup playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR). of the 2023 Sun City Cup in Karlstad, Sweden;

Lindstroem finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lindstroem defeated Walstad 7-3, then won 6-4 against Andreas Harstad (Oppdal, NOR) and 9-3 against Eirik Oey (Oppdal, NOR). Lindstroem went on to lose 9-4 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO). Lindstroem responded with a 6-1 win over Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in their final qualifying round match.

Lindstroem earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Sun City Cup. For week 30 of the event schedule, Lindstroem did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Lindstroem ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
