Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) finished 1-3 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunnam defeated Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) 6-5, then went on to lose 11-5 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Dunnam lost 4-3 to Horgan. Dunnam lost 6-5 to Mark Kean (Oakville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Dunnam earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 14 of the event schedule, Dunnam did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 46th to 49th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 71.547 total points.
