Horgan won 7-2 against Soo-Hyuk Kim (GyeongBuk, KOR), then won 4-3 against Dunnam and 5-2 against Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT). Horgan went on to lose 5-4 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON). Horgan responded with a 8-1 win over Nathan Young (St. Johns, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Horgan earned 17.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Soo Curlers Fall Classic presented by KIOTI Tractors, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 38th place overall with 105.858 total points.
