Karagoz lost 8-2 to Yannick Schwaller (Geneva, SUI) where Karagoz responded with a 8-5 win over Anton Hood (Naseby, NZL). Karagoz won 8-3 against ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR). Karagoz went on to lose 9-5 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN). Karagoz lost 6-4 to Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
