Morozumi won 6-3 against Alex Champ (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For week 7 of the event schedule, Morozumi did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 27th to 29th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 137.875 total points. Morozumi ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.750 points earned so far this season.
