In their opening game, Sherrard defeated JaeBeom Lee (Uiseong, KOR) 7-5, then went on to lose 7-0 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Sherrard lost 6-3 to Rob Nobert (Vernon, BC). Sherrard lost 6-1 to Yanagisawa in their final qualifying round match.
