Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) run at the 2023 U25 NextGen Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK). of the 2023 U25 NextGen Classic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Wiebe finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then won 7-2 against Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) and 7-5 against Nathan Young (St. Johns, NL). Wiebe won 5-4 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Wiebe went on to lose 6-4 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Wiebe earned 12.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the U25 NextGen Classic, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 23rd place overall with 148.125 total points. Wiebe ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.750 points earned so far this season.
