Powers/Saunders Reaches 2024 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship Quarters

Marlee Powers/Luke Saunders (Halifax, NS) qualified for the 2024 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). of the 2024 Mixed Doubles Players' Championship in Brantford, Ontario;

Powers/Saunders finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Powers/Saunders defeated Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) 6-4, then won 8-4 against Casandra Spruit/Geoff Spruit (Winchester, ON) and 8-7 against Nancy Martin/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Powers/Saunders went on to lose 9-5 against Riley Sandham/Wayne Tuck (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Powers/Saunders earned 19.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Mixed Doubles Players' Championship, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 810th place overall with 58.250 total points.
