To advance to the championship game, Forster/Forster won 8-4 over Kimberly Tuck/Wesley Forget (Strathroy, ON) in the semifinals of the 2023 St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-4 over Stephanie Senneker/Marcus Gleaton (Kalamazoo, MI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada;

Forster/Forster finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forster/Forster lost 8-3 to Heather Heggestad/Cory Heggestad (Stroud, ON), then responded with a 8-4 win over Casandra Spruit/Geoff Spruit (Winchester, ON). Forster/Forster went on to lose 8-3 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON). Forster/Forster responded with a 9-5 win over Manon Paquette/David Daoust (Sudbury, NONT). Forster/Forster won 6-5 against Anneka Burghout/Marty Thompson (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
