Gamble/Kalthoff lost 7-6 to Taylor Reese-Hansen/Corey Chester (Victoria, BC) where Gamble/Kalthoff responded with a 7-6 win over Emilia Gagne/Pierre-Luc Morissette (QuÃ©bec, QC). Gamble/Kalthoff went on to lose 6-5 against Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON). Gamble/Kalthoff responded with a 9-0 win over Jessica Wiseman/Greg Smith (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Gamble/Kalthoff earned 11.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Gamble/Kalthoff did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
