To advance to the championship game, Whyte won 6-2 over Kyle Waddell (Hamilton, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2024 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland, Scotland; and won 6-4 over Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Mercure Perth Masters in Perth, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Whyte finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. .
