CHAMPION: Zelingrova/Chabicovsky Wins 2023 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup

Julie Zelingrova/Vitek Chabicovsky (Prague, CZE) won 7-5 over Kseniya Shevchuk/Wilfrid Coulot (Megeve, FRA) in the Final of the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup, held October 12 - 15, 2023 in Kitzbuehel, Austria. To advance to the championship game, Zelingrova/Chabicovsky won 10-3 over Veronika Vasakova/Ondrej Bodlak Jr. (Prague, CZE) in the semifinals of the 2023 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria; and won 6-5 over Kristyna Farkova/David Jakl (Prague, CZE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria;

Zelingrova/Chabicovsky finished 3-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zelingrova/Chabicovsky defeated Shevchuk/Coulot 9-5, then won 7-6 against Laura Engler/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) and 9-1 against Nataliya Artemova/Peter Gaedeke (Cologne, GER) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup Championship title, Zelingrova/Chabicovsky earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Zelingrova/Chabicovsky did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zelingrova/Chabicovsky ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
