After advancing directly to the championship game, Abby Desormeau (Okotoks, AB) lost 6-5 to Abby Whitbread (Lacombe, AB) in the Final of the Cochrane U20 Junior Womens Spiel, held November 10 - 12, 2023 at the Cochrane Curling Club in , Canada.

Desormeau finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Desormeau defeated Irelande McMahon (Calgary, AB) 8-5, then won 8-2 against Ella Cardinal (Calgary, AB) and 10-7 against Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Desormeau ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
