Fyfe4-4 at World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2023

Alison Fyfe (Dublin, IRL) finished 4-4 in the 26-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fyfe lost 11-2 to Lena Kapp (Fuessen, GER), then responded with a 8-5 win over Santa Blumberga-Berzina (Riga, LAT). Fyfe won 9-3 against Keremet Asanbaeva (Bishkek, KGZ). Fyfe went on to lose 7-5 against Diana Moskalenko (Kyiv, UKR). Fyfe lost 10-7 to Lotta Immonen (Espoo, FIN) where Fyfe responded with a 11-7 win over Amanda Chou (Taipei City, TPE). Fyfe won 9-7 against Namini Chaudhari (Hyderabad, IN). Fyfe went on to lose 8-7 against Csilia Halasz (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.

Fyfe earned 5.000 world rankings points for their Top 7 finish in the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2023. For week 20 of the event schedule, Fyfe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fyfe ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
