Kaldvee Runner-Up at 2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship

Marie Kaldvee (Tallinn, EST) lost 8-4 to Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, held April 20 - 27, 2024 in Ostersund, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Kaldvee won 8-6 over Kristin Moen Skaslien (Oslo, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Ostersund, Sweden; and won 6-5 over Kadriana Lott (Winnipeg, CAN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Ostersund, Sweden;

Kaldvee finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaldvee defeated Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) 7-5, then won 7-4 against Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN) and 10-2 against Oihane Otaegi (San Sebastian, ESP). With their runner-up finish at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, Kaldvee take home 60.500 world rankings points, remaining in 840th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 46.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Kaldvee ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 206.000 points earned so far this season.
