Bowles/Deane Reaches 2023 BC Mixed Doubles Championship Quarters

Emily Bowles/Connor Deane (North Delta, BC) qualified for the 2023 BC Mixed Doubles Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-3 against Gabby Brissette/Sterling Middleton (North Delta, BC). of the 2023 BC Mixed Doubles Championship in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada;

Bowles/Deane finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bowles/Deane defeated Jorja Kopytko/Coburn Fadden (Vernon, BC) 7-4, then won 9-5 against Morgayne Eby/Michael Longworth (Vernon, BC). Bowles/Deane went on to lose 6-5 against Ashley Mallett/Nicholas Meister (Langley, BC). Bowles/Deane responded with a 8-6 win over Taylor Reese-Hansen/Corey Chester (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Bowles/Deane earned 4.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the BC Mixed Doubles Championship. For week 23 of the event schedule, Bowles/Deane did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bowles/Deane ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
