Brittany Tran/Bradley Thiessen (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2023 Curling Alberta Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-8 against Danielle Schmiemann/Jason Ginter (Edmonton, AB). of the 2023 Curling Alberta Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship in Lethbridge;

Tran/Thiessen finished 4-2 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tran/Thiessen defeated Hailey Dupras/Justice Jacques (Edmonton, AB) 11-1, then won 8-5 against Kayla Skrlik/Jeremy Harty (Calgary, AB) to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 6-2 against Selena Sturmay/Kyler Kleibrink (Edmonton, AB). Tran/Thiessen responded with a 9-8 win over Claire Booth/Ky Macaulay (Calgary, AB) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 8-1 against Amanda Sluchinski/Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB) to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 9-2 win over Kayleigh Shannon/Rhett Whittmire (Lethbridge, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

Tran/Thiessen earned 4.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Alberta Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship, remaining in 806th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.313 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tran/Thiessen ranks 107th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.126 points earned so far this season.
