Melanie Hoernberg (Harnosand, SWE) qualified for the 2024 Swedish U21 Junior National Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 12-0 against Matilda Wigg Lindberg (Sundbyberg, SWE).

Hoernberg finished 1-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hoernberg defeated Ida Oehlen (Sundsvall, SWE) 7-2, then went on to lose 11-1 against Filippa Burman Fesse (Fyris, SWE). Hoernberg lost 12-1 to Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Hoernberg earned 0.188 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
