Markle went on to lose 6-5 against Melodie Forsythe (Moncton, NB). Markle lost 8-7 to Claire Booth (Calgary, AB) where Markle responded with a 6-5 win over Cailey Locke (St.John's, NL). Markle won 11-4 against Sarah McDonah (St. John's, NL), then won 6-4 against Kali Skauge (Yellowknife, NT) and 9-4 against Mia Toner (Sudbury, NO) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the New Holland Canadian Junior Championships , Markle take home 8.250 world rankings points, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 100th place overall with 21.126 total points.
