Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) run at the 2024 SGI Canada Best of the West came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2024 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; Kolomaya advanced through the quarterfinals with a 7-5 win over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2024 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Kolomaya finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kolomaya lost 7-6 to Wiebe, then responded with a 5-2 win over Cole Adams (Calgary, AB). Kolomaya won 6-5 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB). Kolomaya went on to lose 6-4 against Daymond Bernath (Saskatoon, SK). Kolomaya responded with a 7-4 win over Walter in their final qualifying round match.

Kolomaya earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the SGI Canada Best of the West, moving up 15 spots the World Ranking Standings into 80th place overall with 37.250 total points. Kolomaya ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 37.250 points earned so far this season.
