Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2011 GP Car and Home Players Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-2 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB).
 
Carey finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carey defeated Stina Viktorsson (Umea, SWE) 5-3, then won 5-4 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Carey went on to lose 6-5 against Jones. Carey lost 5-3 to Desiree Owen (Grande Prairie, AB) where Carey responded with a 6-5 win over Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Carey earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the GP Car and Home Players Championship, remaining in 11th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14 after improving upon their best so far this season. Carey ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 149.270 points earned so far this season.
