Drozdov responded with a 7-4 win over Hungary's Gyeorgy Nagy. Drozdov went on to lose 7-6 against Czech Republic's Jiri Snitil. Drozdov responded with a 8-6 win over Switzerland's Sven Michel in their final qualifying round match.
Drozdov earned 10.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Drozdov did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Drozdov ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
