Marc LeCocq (Moncton, NB) finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, LeCocq defeated Nova Scotia's Peter Burgess 7-6, then won 5-4 against John Luckhurst (Halifax, NS). LeCocq went on to lose 6-5 against James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). LeCocq responded with a 7-4 win over Paul Flemming (Halifax, NS). LeCocq won 6-3 against Ian Juurlink (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

LeCocq earned 1.875 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Curl Atlantic Championship, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 82nd place overall with 10.625 total points. LeCocq ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.875 points earned so far this season.
