In their opening game, Wallingham defeated Red Deer 3 (Red Deer, AB) 7-2, then went on to lose 5-3 against Alberta's Kyler Kleibrink. Wallingham responded with a 12-7 win over Alberta's Taitan Hagglund. Wallingham went on to lose 9-1 against Daylan Vavrek (Grande Prairie, AB). Wallingham responded with a 7-3 win over Alberta's Krysta Hilker in their final qualifying round match.
