Meaghan Brezden (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-2 over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Canola Juniors, held December 26 - 31, 2013 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Brezden finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brezden defeated Hanne Jensen (Dauphin, MB) 8-1, then went on to lose 8-4 against Heather Maxted (Teulon, MB). Brezden responded with a 9-4 win over Kylee Calvert (Carberry, MB). Brezden went on to lose 8-3 against Ashley Groff (Carman, MB). Brezden responded with a 5-3 win over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB). Brezden won 7-2 against Watling, then won 7-3 against Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Brezden did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brezden ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
