With their runner-up finish at the PEI Tankard, Newson take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 42 spots the World Ranking Standings into 152nd place overall with 6.900 total points. Newson ranks 122nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.525 points earned so far this season.
