Nielsen went on to lose 8-4 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI). Nielsen responded with a 9-6 win over Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
Nielsen earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Le Gruyere European Curling Championship.
