Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) is set to play Birt in the Final Birt advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the PEI Scotties, held January 23 - 26, 2015 at the Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club in Summerside, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Birt won 10-4 over Kathy O'Rourke (Charlottetown , PEI) in the semifinals of the 2015 PEI Scotties in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada;
Birt finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birt defeated Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI) 9-5, then went on to lose 11-9 against O'Rourke. Birt responded with a 8-7 win over Dolan. Birt won 8-4 against O'Rourke, then won 7-6 against Dolan in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the PEI Scotties Championship title, Birt earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 74th place overall with 17.975 total points. Birt ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.875 points earned so far this season.
