Jackson went on to lose 13-7 against Tucker Smith (Rolla, ND). Jackson responded with a 8-6 win over Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO). Jackson went on to lose 8-1 against Dropkin in their final qualifying round match.

Jackson earned 1.569 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 202nd place overall with 12.795 total points. Jackson ranks 158th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.435 points earned so far this season.
