Norm Green (Kitchener, ON) finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Green defeated Nova Scotia's Louise Gillis 12-6, then won 9-4 against British Columbia's Jim Vinson. Green went on to lose 8-6 against Saskatchewan's Natasha Acher. Green responded with a 8-3 win over Newfoundland / Labrador's Maurice Colbert. Green won 8-7 against Bill Watson (Simcoe, CAN), then won 9-1 against Manitoba's Norman Lyons in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Green did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Green ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
