Epping finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping lost 7-3 to Jake Higgs (Ottawa, ON), then responded with a 4-2 win over Scott Bailey (Brampton, ON). Epping won 7-4 against Mark Kean (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON), then won 7-2 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Epping went on to lose 4-3 against Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Epping responded with a 5-1 win over Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the StuSells Toronto Tankard, Epping take home 43.227 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 4th place overall with 492.904 total points. Epping ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 123.737 points earned so far this season.
