Dow finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dow defeated Ontario's Brent Gray 8-1, then won 5-1 against Brent Ross (Harriston, ON). Dow went on to lose 6-3 against Ontario's Jon St. Denis. Dow responded with a 8-1 win over Gary McCullough (Aurora, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel, Dow take home 15.908 world rankings points along with the $2,100CDN prize, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 81.609 total points.
