Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON) won 8-6 over Codey Maus (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Brantford Nissan Mens Classic, held December 8 - 11, 2016 at the Brant Curling Club in Brantford, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bice won 5-1 over Cory Heggestad (Derby Township, ON) in the semifinals of the 2016 Brantford Nissan Mens Classic in Brantford, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-4 over Connor Duhaime (Barrie, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Brantford Nissan Mens Classic in Brantford, Ontario, Canada;

Bice finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bice defeated Duhaime 8-3, then won 5-4 against Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY). Bice went on to lose 7-3 against Brent Ross (Harriston, ON). Bice responded with a 8-3 win over Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Brantford Nissan Mens Classic Championship title, Bice earned 25.383 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 217.299 total points. Bice ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 99.926 points earned so far this season.
