Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO) lost 6-4 to Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) in the Final of the Scottish Curling Championships, held February 18 - 25, 2017 in Perth, Scotland.
 
Fleming finished 3-3 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fleming defeated Amy MacDonald (Inverness, SCO) 8-6, then went on to lose 9-4 against Muirhead. Fleming responded with a 12-6 win over Maggie Wilson (Aberdeen, SCO). Fleming went on to lose 11-8 against Karina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO). Fleming lost 9-8 to Hazel Smith (Lanarkshire, SCO) where Fleming responded with a 9-4 win over Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Scottish Curling Championships, Fleming take home 17.399 world rankings points. Fleming move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 15.347 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 28th overall with 230.494 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Fleming ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 166.931 points earned so far this season.
