Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, QC) won 9-4 over Martin Ferland (Quebec, QC) in the Final of the Finale du Circuit, held November 4 - 6, 2016 in Montreal, Quebec. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Menard won 4-3 over Pierre-Luc Morissette (Quebec, QC) to advance to the championship game. of the 2016 Finale du Circuit in Montreal, Quebec;

Menard finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated Martin Lavoie (Montreal, QC) 10-3, then won 7-1 against Steven Munroe (Levis, QC) and 8-4 against Morissette in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Finale du Circuit Championship title, Menard earned 17.107 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 182.646 total points. Menard ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.280 points earned so far this season.
