Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) qualified for the 2016 Finale du Circuit playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-6 against Pierre-Luc Morissette (Quebec, QC). of the 2016 Finale du Circuit in Montreal, Quebec;

Fournier finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fournier defeated Marc Andre Robitaille (Montreal, QC) 5-2, then won 4-3 against Guy Hemmings (Sprel-Tracy, QC). Fournier went on to lose 9-6 against Martin Ferland (Quebec, QC). Fournier responded with a 8-5 win over Steven Munroe (Levis, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
