Robin Ahlberg (Uppsala, SWE) finished 3-3 in the 7-team qualifying round. . Ahlberg lost 7-2 to Emil Ring (Karlstad, SWE) where Ahlberg responded with a 14-2 win over Petter Moller (Helsingborg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Ahlberg earned 0.449 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
