Tova Sundberg (Ostersund, SWE) run at the 2017 Swedish National Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 11-1 loss to Margaretha Sigfridsson (Skelleftea, SWE). of the 2017 Swedish National Championship in Jonkoping, Sweden;

Sundberg finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sundberg defeated Therese Westman (Danderyd, SWE) 10-2, then won 8-6 against Rebecka Thunman (Uppsala, SWE). Sundberg went on to lose 8-4 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE). Sundberg responded with a 8-2 win over Emma Berg (Stockholm, SWE). Sundberg went on to lose 7-2 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Sundberg responded with a 5-4 win over Cecilia Fransson (Skelleftea, SWE). Sundberg went on to lose 8-0 against Sigfridsson in their final qualifying round match.

Sundberg earned 14.172 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Swedish National Championship. For week 25 of the event schedule, Sundberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sundberg ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
