To advance to the championship game, Sigfridsson won 11-1 over Tova Sundberg (Ostersund, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2017 Swedish National Championship in Jonkoping, Sweden;
Sigfridsson are currently 5-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sigfridsson defeated Cecilia Fransson (Skelleftea, SWE) 9-0, then went on to lose 8-5 against Hasselborg. Sigfridsson responded with a 6-4 win over Emma Berg (Stockholm, SWE). Sigfridsson won 7-1 against Rebecka Thunman (Uppsala, SWE), then won 7-4 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE) and 8-0 against Sundberg. In their next game, Sigfridsson plays.
For winning the Swedish National Championship Championship title, Sigfridsson earned 23.342 world rankings points.
