Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 7-6 over Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Humpty's Champions Cup, held April 24 - 29, 2018 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 9-6 over Eve Muirhead (Perth , SCO) in the semifinals of the 2018 Humpty's Champions Cup in Calgary, Alberta; and won 6-3 over Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA) in the quarterfinals.
 
Homan finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan lost 5-4 to Sinclair, then responded with a 5-2 win over Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI). Homan went on to lose 6-2 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Homan responded with a 6-4 win over Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Humpty's Champions Cup Championship title, Homan earned 75.041 world rankings points along with the $40,000CDN first prize cheque. Homan move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 71.216 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 866.888 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Homan ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 372.294 points earned so far this season.
