Tardi lost 8-3 to Kelly McQuiggan (Richmond, BC) where Tardi responded with a 8-5 win over Brent Pierce (New Westminster , BC). Tardi went on to lose 7-2 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
