Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) won 8-5 over Patti Knezevic (Lake Country, BC) in the Final of the Kamloops Crown of Curling, held October 20 - 23, 2017 at the Kamloops Curling Club in Kamloops, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Pewarchuk won 9-1 over Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC) to advance to the championship game. of the 2017 Kamloops Crown of Curling in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Pewarchuk finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pewarchuk defeated Van Osch 6-5, then won 8-5 against Diane Gushulak (New Westminister, BC) and 8-2 against Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC). Pewarchuk won 5-4 against Northwest Territories's Kerry Galusha in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Kamloops Crown of Curling Championship title, Pewarchuk earned 22.807 world rankings points along with the $4,500CDN first prize cheque. For week 11 of the event schedule, Pewarchuk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pewarchuk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
