To advance to the championship game, Bohn won 5-2 over JT Ryan (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2017 KKP Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 9-4 over Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 KKP Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Bohn finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bohn defeated Julien Leduc (Winnipeg, MB) 5-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Ryan. Bohn responded with a 8-0 win over Hayden Forrester (winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KKP Classic Championship title, Bohn earned 19.272 world rankings points along with the $1,300CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 131.36 total points. Bohn ranks 49th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.884 points earned so far this season.
