Colton Flasch (Saskatoon, SK) qualified for the 2017 Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against Adam Casey (Regina, SK). of the 2017 Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Flasch finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flasch defeated Josh Heidt (Saskatoon, SK) 6-0, then went on to lose 8-3 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Flasch responded with a 7-6 win over Aaron Sluchinski (Airdrie, AB). Flasch won 6-1 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB), then won 5-2 against Carruthers in their final qualifying round match.
