Marc Pfister (Adelboden, SUI) qualified for the 2017 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Patric Mabergs (Skelleftea, SWE). of the 2017 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;

Pfister finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfister lost 6-4 to Greg Drummond (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 5-3 win over Lucien Lottenbach (Luzern, SUI). Pfister won 7-1 against Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI), then won 7-1 against David Sik (Prague, CZE). Pfister went on to lose 7-2 against Alexander Baumann (Baden-Baden, GER) in their final qualifying round match.
